Hit and Run!

So I had a very exhausting week, balancing school and work is no fun at all! I was looking forward to my weekend coming up because I actually have it off from work and I get to go see some of my friends. So while we were hanging out I remembered I had to  pick something up from Walmart before I left for home. I pull up to Walmart and go in side and get the few things I need and when I come back to my 1998 Chevy Blazer, I notice a big dent in my rear bumper area, and I said to myself whoa that for sure wasn't there before! I look around and there are no cars by mine and I'm like great, guess who's paying for that? Me! So it was very depressing and I don't even know when I'm going to have time to get a estimate to see how much more I have to work to be able to fix this. Life little hassels right? On the bright side my car is really old and its not as bad as having a new car getting a dent because I would be infuriated then! So todays lesson for everyone is to park all the way in the back in walmart parking lot, away from other cars!

  1. I agree! lol Good luck with that! Yea, I had a car accident back in February and had 3 dents in the side of my brand-new Hundai Elantra. When I went to get an estimate, they told me $900!! Just to pop out 3 little dents! So you're lucky you have an old car. lol Hopefully it'll be a lot cheaper to get yours fixed!

  2. That sucks! I don't know why or how people can do that. I would never ever leave a car after hitting it but thankfully I haven't hit anything yet to even have to think about that. I would have to go inside or wait by the car or at least leave a note with all my information on it because I would feel so horrible and guilty leaving.I hope you get time to fix it soon and that it is not that much.

  3. That’s the real world for you. Anything can happen without cause or explanation. The only time I was ever in any kind of car accident was when this girl rear ended me, and I know that it sounds like a porn moment, but it wasn’t. We knew each other from high school, so there was no tension in the incident. The back of my car only had minor paint sratches, but the hood of her car was kinked up real bad. When we reported the accident, she stated that a car behind her rear ended her causing a domino effect, but I think she sort of made herself believe it so she wouldn’t be blamed as much. What really funny though is that at high school, she was voted “Worst Driver”, but like I said, that’s life.

  5. ya that sucks man I would never do that if i hit a person. My sister actuaaly did something like that a year ago when she was at college. She told me about and that she was feeling really bad. She was feeling so bad as a matter af fact that she somehow contacted the person that she hit confessed it was her and offered to pay for the damages. The person she hit already had gotten it fixed and said she didn't need to worry about it. iF i were you i would ask walmart to look at the cameras in the parking lot and find the person woh did it.
